Creator Contest

2026 Video Creator Contest

Create something fun. Share financial knowledge that makes an impact.

ProFed Credit Union is inviting students, creators, and community members across Northeast Indiana to turn real-life money moments into short, creative videos that help others make smarter financial choices.

This isn’t about being an expert. It’s about sharing what you know, what you’ve learned, or what you wish someone had told you sooner — all in about 30 seconds.

Want to Do Something Different?

Great. These categories are meant to guide you, not box you in. If your idea still fits the spirit of financial wellnesseducation, and helping others make better choices, you’re encouraged to run with it. The most memorable videos often come from unexpected angles. You get to decide the story you tell.

How We Pick Winners

  • Public’s Favorite — $500 (YouTube "Likes," April 1–30)
  • Best Video — $250 (Voted by ProFed staff)
  • Most Original — $250 (guest judges)
  • Charity Bonus: Public’s Favorite winner selects a local charity — ProFed donates $250.

Winning videos will be announced on May 1, 2026.

As an added bonus, during April, while our community watches and votes on “Don’t Break the Bank” videos, ProFed will highlight a local charity and donate up to $500. Weekly donation amounts will be determined by the number of “Likes” we receive — each vote or “Like” equals $1, up to $500. Each featured organization will also receive a short spotlight sharing who they are and why their mission matters.

How We Give Back

The charities featured during this initiative include:

  1. Power House Youth Center
  2. My Autism Ally
  3. Blessings in a Backpack
  4. YMCA Youth Service Bureau
  5. Wells Community Boys & Girls Club
  6. Humane Fort Wayne
  7. Camp Red Cedar
  8. GiGi's Playhouse

At the end of the four-week voting period, on May 1, 2026, ProFed will announce the winners for the video contest via email and social media. In addition to earning top honors, the winning participant from “Public’s Favorite” will have the opportunity to choose their favorite charitable organization recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or a public or private school, college, or university. ProFed will then make an additional $250 donation to the winner's selected organization.

*Additional Requirements for Participants Under 18: A parent or legal guardian must review and agree to the Official Rules before a minor submits an entry. Entries are not complete until ProFed receives and verifies parental/guardian consent. Videos will not be reviewed, judged, or posted until this consent is confirmed. Rules about consent, privacy, and use of a minor’s name, image, and likeness apply throughout the Official Rules. After winners are selected, ProFed will verify age and ensure any winner under 18 has a signed parental/guardian release form.
