SCAM ALERT: Notice of FNMA Enhancement from JFQ Lending, Inc.

ProFed members are reporting that they have received letters in the mail telling them to call a number regarding their mortgage before a certain date to benefit from a cash disbursement, shortened payment term, or lower mortgage payment. We have reviewed several of these letters and can confirm it is a scam.
How the letters look and what they say
The letters appear to come from JFQ Lending. and contain the line "Notice of FNMA Enhancement." The letters ask you to call 1-833-782-0648 and warns you to call before a certain date to secure economic benefits. Beware of specific indicators that require you to take specific actions in an urgent matter.
How the letters are sent
The bottom of the letter states that, "This is a third-party offer from JFQ Lending, Inc."
How the sender got your information

It's important to note that information about mortgages is on public record. Scammers can get your contact information by searching through these records. Please also note the account number in the letter does not match your account number with ProFed, indicating a scam.
How it could affect you if you call the number on the letter
If you call the number listed, it may connect you to an automated recording or a person. Do not share your personal information under any circumstances. Disclosing your personal information could result in an unfortunate series of events impacting your finances and privacy.
How to respond if you get this letter
