Where can I find the support I need?

There is an overwhelming amount of support flowing from all directions during this difficult time in our lives. Especially, right here in our communities. We are joining efforts to provide the resources we need to feed our children, educate our families, and take care of our people. Unfortunately, financial struggles are also becoming a reality, so please do not hesitate to reach out if you need anything at all. ProFed is here for you. See a list of resources below.

Food pantries serving free meals: (Please call in advance to ensure the food pantries have enough food for you and your family.)

  • Decatur Church of God (724-2580) - Open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm
  • Decatur Lighthouse Assembly of God Food Pantry (728-4091) - Food voucher program available, 1 per month, call for appointment.
  • Decatur Operation Help (724-5300 ext. 1140) - Open Wednesdays from 1 pm - 4 pm.
  • Monroe United Methodist Church (692-6101) - Open 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm.
  • North Adams Church of Christ (701-2333) - Open Sundays 11:30 am - 12:30 pm.
  • Pleasant Dale Church of the Brethren (565-3797) - Open first Wednesday of the month from 8:30 am - 3:30 pm.
  • St. Mark's Food Pantry at St. Mark's United Methodist Church (724-7183) - Open 1st and 3rd Tuesday from 5:15 pm - 6:15 pm, except for the week of July 4th.
  • The Lord's Table Food Pantry (368-7655) - Open 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month.

  • Free Public Wi-Fi - AdamsWells Internet is offering public Wi-Fi to use in their parking lot (2351 N. Main St., Craigville) to get your work done, download assignments, or whatever you may need. The public network is FCW-Public.

Allen County

Schools serving free meals to kids: 

  • East Allen County Schools - Offering free breakfast and lunch packs to anyone under 18 years of age on 3/24, 3/31, 4/7 from 11 am - 1 pm & 4 pm - 6 pm at Heritage (Door #8), Southwick Elementary (Door #6), and New Haven Intermediate (Door #8). Be prepared to provide your child's name during pick up.
  • Fort Wayne Community Schools - Offering free breakfast and lunch to kids (0 - 18 yr. olds) for pickup M-F 10:30 am - 1:30 pm. Kids must be present for drive-up/walk-up and there will be no building entry or outdoor seating available. 
  • Locally owned restaurants serving free meals to kids:
  • á Roma Pizza (1123 E State Blvd.) - Offering one free slice of pizza for kids starting at noon.
  • Caliente Cuban (120 W Wayne St.) - Offering kids a free half grilled cheese or ham and cheese with chips.
  • Elmo's (All locations) - Offering free sack lunches for kids M-F.
  • Lucille's BBQ (9011 Lima Rd.) - Offering kids a free sack lunch from M-F, 11 am - 1 pm. *Kids do not have to be present*
  • Mancino's (1025 Coliseum Blvd. & 10874 Isabelle Dr., New Haven) - Offering free sack lunches for kids M-F 11am - 1 pm.
  • The Bluebird Restaurant (4410 Bluffton Rd.) - Offering free sack lunches for children that rely on school for food.
  • Willie's Family Restaurant (6342 St. Joe Center Rd.) - Stop by and ask for Kim Campbell about free breakfast or lunch for your kids.

  • 1st Baptist Church of New Haven (493-2994) - Open to everyone on Thursdays from 3 pm - 4:30 pm.
  • Adventist Community Services (745-1594) - Open 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 9:30 am - 2 pm. Accessibility to the food and clothing bank is limited to one visit permitted per month. 
  • Amistad Cristiana Presbyterian Church (579-6966) - Open Monday and Wednesday from 9 am - 11 am serving residents living south of Rudisill, West of Anthony, and East & North of Lafayette.
  • Anthony Wayne First Church of God (6012 South Bend Dr., next to church, 260-433-3323) - Open Monday and Wednesday from 9 am - 11 am serving residents in 46804.
  • At The Table - Gethsemane Lutheran Church (483-1813) - Open food pantry on Monday and Thursday from 9 am - 11:45 am serving residents who live in 46825.
  • Avalon Missionary Church (1500 Lower Huntington Rd.) - Open Thursdays from 6 pm - 8 pm serving residents in 46819.
  • Beacon Heights Church of the Brethren (2810 Beacon St.) - Open Wednesday from 9:30 am - 11:30 am serving residents in 46805.
  • Bethlehem Lutheran Church (3705 S. Anthony Blvd.) - Open M-Th from 10 am - 11:30 am serving residents in 46806.
  • Broadway Christian Church (910 Broadway, 260-422-3498) - Open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and you must be there before 9 am, serving residents in the 46802. For recorded info, call.

  • Wayne Township Trustee Parking Lot (320 E Superior St.) - Monday Food Help is open every Monday, arrive by 7:30 am - 7:45 am to make sure you receive a ticket from the front desk. Bring a box or bag to carry things in serving residents in 46802.
  • Wellspring Interfaith Social Services (1316 Broadway) - Open Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 9 am - 11:30 am; Tuesday from 4 pm - 6pm; Thursday from 2:30 pm - 4 pm; and Saturday from 9 am - 11 am serving residents in 46802.
  • Wellspring on Wheels - Open serving residents in the 46802 in the parking lot of the WIC office on E. Wallace St. on 4/2, 5/7, 6/4, 7/2, 8/6, 9/3, 10/1, 11/5, and 12/3 from 9 am - 11 am.

Huntington County

  • Zanesville Churches @ United Methodist Church - Offering on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday free sack lunches to families with school/preschool age children.

Schools serving free meals to kids:

  • Bluffton Harrison Elementary School - Offering free meals to students 18 and under from 10:50 am - 12:50 am at Door #1, student must be present, and selling adult meals for $3.
  • Southern Wells Community Schools - Offering free breakfast and lunches available to all students for pick up (Door #32) during the hours of 10 am - 12 pm on 3/18, 3/20, 4/6, and 4/13.

  • Churubusco United Methodist Church Food Pantry and Soup Kitchen (693-2154) - Open Tuesday 9 am - 11 am & 3 pm - 5 pm and W-F 3 pm - 5 pm.
  • Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church (244-7118) - Open Wednesday and Friday from 12 pm - 2 pm.
  • St. John Bosco Parish (693-9578) - Open on Wednesdays from 3:30 pm - 5 pm, and until 5:30 pm starting 4/1. Only serves within 8 mile radius.
  • St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church (244-5723) - Open Monday from 10 am - 12 pm to Whitley County residents only.
  • The Impact Center (229-2525) - Open Thursdays from 1 pm - 4:45 pm to Whitley County residents only. They will be coming to cars to hand out food.
  • Tri-Lakes Baptist Church (691-2553) - Open Thursdays from 1 pm - 3 pm to Whitley and Noble County residents only.
  • Whitley County Council on Aging (248-8944) - Open every day except Wednesday from 1 pm - 2 pm; 8:30 pm - 10:30 pm to Whitley County residents aged 60 and over.
