Step-by-Step Guide For ProFed Digital Banking Enrollment 

Watch Video on Getting Started in Digital Banking or follow the steps below.

  1. To get started in ProFed Digital Banking visit profedcu.org/login on a desktop computer or download the new mobile app on your mobile device. DOWNLOAD IOS APP DOWNLOAD ANDROID APP
  2. To re-enroll or sign up as a first-time user, click “Register.”
  3. Choose your account type, business or personal, then select your account verification method. You can choose between your account, debit card or credit card numbers.
  4. Enter the number for the method you have selected.
  5. Enter the following information:
    • The last four digits of your social security number
    • The email address on file with ProFed
    • Your date of birth
  6. Click to view terms of use for ProFed’s Digital Banking. Then, select the “I accept the terms and conditions” button.
  7. Now you are ready to verify your account. Select the method for verifying your account and enter the code that is sent to you.
  8. Create your new username and password. Select “View requirements” if you wish to see the password criteria.
  9. Once you’re happy with your new password, re-enter your password and click “Confirm.” As long as the requirements are met, your new username and password will be set.

  10. Retype your username and password.
  11. The first time you sign in through a new device or browser, you’ll be asked for a verification code. Grab this from an email or text we’ll send you. If you don’t see the email in your inbox, be sure to check your spam folder. It may take up to a few minutes to receive your code. Once received, enter or copy/paste it into the verification code box.
  12. Select “This is a trusted device” if you expect to sign in from here often.

Frequently Asked Questions

When is ProFed upgrading systems?

Our upgrade will begin Thursday, October 28, 2021 when our current bill pay system goes offline and on Friday, October 29, 2021, at 4:00 PM EST, our current online and mobile banking solutions will go offline, followed by our branches and video tellers, which will close at 6:00 PM EST. On Monday, November 1, 2021, at 12:00 PM EST, the new ProFed Digital Banking will become available, and our branches and video tellers will be ready to serve you.

Why is ProFed upgrading systems? 

The upgrade to our new systems will enhance our technology and offer services that our members have been asking for, providing access to the latest in digital banking technology. Single sign on for all accounts, person to person payments, and instant mobile deposits are some of the new features.

Will I need to register?

Yes, you will need to download the new app and register in ProFed Digital Banking. 

How do I log into the new system?

To get started on desktop or mobile devices, you will need click register and be prepared to enter your account number, debit, or credit card number, the last four digits of your social security number, birthdate, email, and then you will be prompted to create a new username and password. 

Where do I go to register?

When the new system goes live on Monday, November 1, 2021, you will go to profedcu.org/login or download the new digital banking app to register through a simple 3-step process.

Will my password change for the new system?

Yes, you will be required to change your password for ProFed Digital Banking. We strongly recommend using a password that you do not use with other systems or websites.

Will I need to download a new app?

Yes, both IOS and Android users will need to download a new app available on Monday, November 1, 2021 in the Apple and Google Play Stores.

How will I know which app is the new app to download?

Our new app will look different with a blue-green background and a white logo. Please see the old app (white) vs. the new app (blue-green) below. 

What happened to my text alerts?

Text alerts are now available in ProFed Digital Banking. Email alerts are also available. 

Why is my screen spinning when I try to sign up for the Credit Score Tool?

Internet Explorer is not a supported browser. Please try using Firefox or Chrome.

What happens if I don't get the email using the forgotten password feature?

Please check your Junk and Spam folders. If you have a Gmail account, be sure to check your Important Folder.

Is the upgraded system secure?

ProFed works hard to ensure that your information is secure and that is no different with our newly upgraded system. Our high encryption standards and enhanced login security will remain, which means you can bank online with confidence. 

How will I view my statements?

Statements will be viewed just like before in ProFed Digital Banking under the Statement tab for the primary account holder. You will need to re-enroll in eStatements or electronic statements, even if you were enrolled before the upgrade.

Will I still have access to old statements?

Yes, there will be no impact to your statements. Remember, you will need to re-enroll in eStatements.

Will this upgrade affect my direct deposit?

No, there will be no impact to your automated deposits or direct deposit.

Will scheduled recurring transfers process as normal?

Recurring transfers scheduled in online or mobile banking on or before October 28, 2021 will process with the normal scheduled effective date. Any transfers scheduled for October 29, 2021 through October 31, 2021 will process and be posted on November 1, 2021.

How will my eBills be affected?

Your eBills in Bill Pay will be unavailable starting Friday, October 22, 2021. You will stop receiving and lose access to your eBills on Friday, October 22, 2021. After the update launches on Monday, November 1, 2021 at 12:00 PM EST, you will be required to re-enroll in the eBill service. NOTE: Your bills may not automatically convert to paper statements. Please reach out to your vendors if you need to setup a new billing method during the outage.

Why can't I see my Bill Pay account?

All existing Bill Pay accounts are only available under the primary account holder. If you wish to set up Bill Pay under a joint member's account, you will need to re-enter the billers. 

How will Business Banking be affected?

Business Banking will be unavailable starting Friday, October 29, 2021 at 4:00 PM EST and will become available again on Monday, November 1, 2021 at 12:00 PM EST. Payroll files must be received no later than close of business on Thursday, October 28, 2021.

What is the core system upgrade?

The core system upgrade allows us to improve the computer system we use to process member transactions. We continually strive to provide the best banking experience possible, and upgrading our technology positions us to continue to do this into the future.

How do I access the new Audio Teller system?

You can access the new Audio Teller system by calling the same number as before, 260-483-5537 or 800-752-4615.

  • If you already have an account set up with Touch Tone Teller, you can enter or say your account number and current PIN when prompted and then you will be asked to create a new PIN that is six digits long. After you set up your new PIN, you're all set. You will be able to access your account moving forward by entering or saying your account number and new six-digit pin.
  • If you forgot your PIN or are a new user and do not have a PIN, press the star key when prompted and you will be asked to say or enter a login ID, your social security number, date of birth, and zip code to validate your account. Then, you will be prompted to setup a new six-digit PIN. After you set up your new pin, you’re all set.
