Riley Run

October 15, 2019

The middle of October means one thing. The Annual Run for Riley! This event brings the community together to run/walk in support of The Children's Miracle Network. We have created a remarkable sponsorship with Riley Hospital for Children. ProFed even goes the extra mile and makes the entire month of October, "Riley Month". This allows branches the time to dedicate in raising funds for the organization.

The DeKalb Chamber Partnership and Downtown Auburn Business Association hosted a free, family-friendly event in downtown Auburn. E-Recycling Day

May 4, 2019

ProFed hosted a very successful E-Recycling Day on Saturday, May 4, 2019. We hold the record for the largest recycling event in OmniSource's history. With a total of 5 full trucks, a half day’s blood, sweat, and tears, plus a shocking 24,730 lbs worth of electronics collected at our St. Joe River Drive facility, it is safe to say we outdid ourselves. Our team is very proud of the impact we made in helping out the environment. In all, over 2,000 lbs of lead in TV and CRT monitor glass will now be properly recycled and prevented from being accidentally landfilled.

We couldn't have done it without everyone's help. We appreciate all of our employees who volunteered their time and all of the residents who contributed e-waste to recycle. We can't forget about our partners at OmniSource Electronics Recycling who helped us load up and haul away all of the e-waste ensuring material was responsibly recycled in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and all data securely destroyed in accordance with R2:2013 industry standards. Big thanks to everyone for making ProFed’s first E-Recycling Day an unbelievable event!

ReStore Your Passion Event

April 18, 2019

ProFed proudly sponsored a fun-filled night supporting an incredible cause. Habitat for Humanity hosted the Restore your Passion event. It was a Greek-themed night full of food booths that featured a "Nailed-It" competition, wine tasting, and local women constructing one-of-a-kind pieces in their inaugural Goddess Contractor Competition.  Habitat contributed all of the funds raised right back into our community to help with local building projects.
