Please read this Terms of Use Agreement carefully prior to participating in the ProFed Federal Credit Union Member Referral Program (the “Program”). It is your responsibility to ensure you have read and understand the rules of the Program. By participating in the Program, you accept and agree to the terms and conditions of this Terms of Use Agreement. If you do not accept and agree to the terms and conditions of this agreement you may not participate in the Program. For the best experience, please use Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Safari as your web browser.
- The Program is available for consumer accounts only.
- Members assume all tax liabilities for incentive/bonus paid.
- We reserve the right to cancel, modify or terminate the Program at any time for any reason without notice.
- We reserve the right to disqualify any referring ProFed member or referred individual at any time from participation in the Program at our discretion, for any reason, including, but not limited to, fraudulent or illegal activity, Program abuse, or failure to comply with any of the terms or conditions of the Program.
- The referred individual must open a qualifying membership account. A qualifying membership account consists of a checking account with a minimum opening deposit of $25.00 and a savings account with a minimum opening deposit of $5.00, or a Great Start Savings with a minimum opening deposit of $5.00 and a 12 Month EZ Saver Certificate with a minimum opening deposit of $25.00. A minimum of $5.00 must be maintained in the primary savings account at all times.
- Must be eighteen years of age or older to participate in the Program.
- The credit union is not liable for lost referral codes.
- Employees and their household members are not eligible to participate in the Program or earn cash incentives.
Referring ProFed Member:
- You must have a membership account in good standing to be eligible to refer. Accounts will be deemed in good standing in our discretion.
- The referred individual must use the referring member’s unique referral link when opening an account online or present the referring member’s information when opening an account in person for incentive/bonus to be paid.
- Incentive/bonus will be credited to the primary savings account once the referred individual opens a qualifying account and the account has been reviewed by the credit union.
- Only one referring ProFed member will be paid for each new account referral.
Referred Individual:
- All accounts are subject to our approval.
- You must be eligible for membership.
- You must open a qualifying membership account.
- You must not have had any membership, account or loan with ProFed Federal Credit Union during the preceding twelve months.
- You must use the unique referral link when opening an account online or present the referring member’s information when opening an account in person for incentive/bonus to be paid.
- You waive your privacy rights and any other requirements in order for us to disclose the opening of an account and pay the incentive/bonus to the referring ProFed member.
- Accounts must be open for three months and remain in good standing (in our discretion) for incentive/bonus to be paid. Incentive/bonus will be credited to the primary savings account.
- Limit one incentive/bonus per new member.
- All new accounts are verified through ChexSystems. Federally insured by the NCUA.
